Our youngest kitty, Hobie is about 4 years old and he is an American wire hair cat.

She is only 7.lbs but rules the house with the force of a dragon. It is so funny that she is the smallest of the three cats we have but the two male cats steer clear of any thing she has marked as hers.She is daddy's little girl. I think she has got computer geek genes. If you leave a laptop bag open she will make herself comfortable in the bag where the laptop goes. It is just so cute.

Nero (Italian for Black)
He is one of two male cats we have. We just call him our little American short hair. We are not sure- fur not long enough to be a tabby but short enough not to be a an American wire hair cat. He has all the traits of a short hair though. He is very gentle, non aggressive kitty. he is big though and sometimes does not know his own strength.

Hobie
He is our little survivor. When he was a kitten he was living in bushes out in the front yard. We tried taking care of him but he was such an independent tike. One day he just up and disappeared. two years later here comes this adorable cat. We recognized him from his coloring. Long story short after he came back he made his way indoors. He is now an indoor cat like the rest of our kitties.
